Description

On Wednesday, November 18th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Center for Spiritual Awakening is Raas Leela Kirtana Concert: Heart of Bhakti.
Raas Leela Kirtana is a Los Angeles-based devotional ensemble dedicated to sharing the transformative experience of Kirtan and Sankirtan—the collective singing of sacred names, mantras, and devotional songs. Rooted in the ancient Bhakti Yoga tradition, Raas Leela Kirtana brings together traditional bhajans, sacred mantras, and devotional chants with contemporary musical arrangements. The result is an experience that honors the depth and authenticity of the Kirtan tradition while creating an accessible and welcoming space for modern audiences.
At the heart of Raas Leela Kirtana's offering is participation. Rather than simply presenting a musical performance for an audience to observe, the ensemble invites everyone to become part of the experience through call-and-response chanting, singing, rhythm, meditation, and collective musical expression. The music creates an environment where people can release, connect, celebrate, become still, and experience the heart-opening quality of sacred sound.
