At the Winter Solstice, we arrive at the longest night of the year, there is a natural threshold between darkness and the gradual return of light. 

On Saturday, December 19th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Center for Spiritual Awakening, join Christopher Powell for an immersive evening of sound, stillness, and deep listening designed to help us enter this turning point with presence and intention.
Through the rich resonance of gongs and other healing instruments, Christopher will create an expansive field of sound that invites the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and awareness to move beneath the surface of ordinary thought.
Rather than simply listening to music, participants are invited to receive the experience fully, allowing vibration and silence to become part of the meditation. The Solstice offers a natural moment to release what has run its course, rest in the spaciousness of winter, and make room for what is beginning to emerge. This evening will offer time for inward reflection while also sharing the experience within community.
Come as you are. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that will help you rest comfortably during the sound immersion. An evening of deep listening, renewal, and connection at the turning of the season.
